Shababeek a Learning Loss Compensation Program
Partners for Sustainable Development (PSD), in partnership with the Ministry of Education and with funding from the World Bank successfully implemented a large-scale remedial, catch-up, and supportive education program. This initiative reached 10,000 students across 150 public schools, utilizing an innovative hybrid model that combined school-based and community-based approaches. By addressing learning gaps and providing tailored support, the program created an inclusive and collaborative environment that engaged teachers, parents, and local stakeholders. PSD’s efforts reflect its commitment to equitable access to quality education, effectively mitigating learning loss and building sustainable solutions to strengthen the educational system.
